Hi, I'm having problems running the latest version of skype. I installed
it with jaws scripts, because i couldn't find an older version, but I'm
unable to make the Skype homepage vannish, and it's blocking me from viewing
my profile and contacts properly. I get a lot of unknown fields, and
although I had a friend block a lot of the adds and turn off automatic
updates, I can't make chats appeare in seperate windows, and am unable to
find the boxes where people reply to me. Before, Ii used to find the edot
box, then type in my message, and when I hit enter, it's read out what i'd
just typed, then i knew it'd sent. When a friend replied to me, I'd hear a
clicking sound, which meant they were typing to me, and to read their
replies, I'd shift tab back, and jaws would read out who'd sent the message
along with the time, but now I don't get any of that.
I'm not sure what to do, I only know this current skype version is driving
me up the wall. :) Hope someone can help. Thanks, from lori.
