Para o wicd funcionar, vc tem q seguir o que está escrito no README.SLACKWARE na pasta do wicd, Seguem alguns trechos importantes:
- chmod +x /etc/rc.d/rc.wicd; /etc/rc.d/rc.wicd start - Remova todas as entradas referentes ao wlan0 no /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1.conf - O usuário que vai usar o wicd tem que fazer parte do grupo netdev Recomendo um reboot apos fazer os ajustes acima para garantir que tido foi devidamente carregado.
