Sorry, I have to correct myself. The issue is one of alut.h including alc.h and al.h in the following manner:
#include <alc.h> #include <al.h> Which of course results in the building process not finding the files as \AL is not in the include paths of the project. It needs to be added. Another error that arises after the fix is LLAudioEngine_OpenAL::WIND_BUFFER_SIZE_SEC not being initialized in the class in the line 75 of audioengine_openal.h static const float WIND_BUFFER_SIZE_SEC = 0.05f; // 1/20th sec Sorry for the confusion if I caused any.
