As it seems to be clear by now there will be a 2.0 release. This includes there will be milestone releases before the final one which will be available as binaries *in pricipal*.

The problem for me is what a Slide binary release may look like... I have seen the 1.0.x binary comes as a Tomcat release modified to include Slide. As Stefano pointed out, this hardly is the way to go for the 2.x., is it? I have also seen this 1.0.x release contains jars that might lead to license problems...

Would a war (web archive) be enough for a binary release? Hardly...

Discussion is needed!
