What Servlet Spec level do we require? 2.2? 2.3? I would vote for 2.3, but this does exclude weblogic6 and websphere4...
Which features of 2.3 do you need? I need only ServletFilters, which are independent from Slide.
IIRC, Slide HEAD already depends on Servlet-API 2.3, but only because of the request logging feature, which is based on servlet filters.
