Robert, come on!

Instead of telling me what I might have done wrong, could you please clarify, what is still missing. This would be *helpful* to actually get access rights for Martin.

I am new to this as you might have guessed ;)

sorry, i probably came on a little strong (for a public mailing list) though i do stand by my points (in general).

this is probably the first of many questions you'll have as you push towards a 2.0 release so i think the best advice i can given you is to point you towards the right place to ask any technical questions: general at jakarta.apache.org.

Guys, chill! :-) Everyone is a little bit on the edge these days on legal matters, the "correct" procedure (as far as I can remember it) is pretty simple...

Oliver, That email you sent to infrastructure, re-send it to [EMAIL PROTECTED] instead. Martin, please download the CLA <http://www.apache.org/licenses/#clas>, read it, sign it, and fax it to Jim at +1-410-803-2258 (then write to [EMAIL PROTECTED] just to confirm that he got it).

When Jim confirms that your CLA is received to the PMC and infrastructure, root will create the account and give CVS karma...

Takes 10 minutes! :-) (and Robert, takes 5 minutes to explain, also since certain steps are not clearly documented, might be nice to help out a little bit more! :-) :-) )

Pier
