sorry, i probably came on a little strong (for a public mailing list) though i do stand by my points (in general).
No problem, but to keep it on the technical level. To learn for the future, what was wrong? What has happened so far is:
- On Monday I sent the request you cited to infrastructure, directly after this I received email from them, I had to cc jakarta pmc
- After that I re-sent the request to infrastructure, cc'ing pmc, root and Martin
- I got an answer everything is ok now, but Martin's CLA was missing
- Martin sent his CLA
- All this was still on Monday
- On tuesday you complained about something wrong (not quite clear to me what)
- I asked Martin to send a confirmation to the pmc and everyone he could image, which he did
Now, I agree legal stuff is important. What was wrong, what is missing? I really want to know, as - hopefully - this will not be the last committer I propose :)
this is probably the first of many questions you'll have as you push towards a 2.0 release so i think the best advice i can given you is to point you towards the right place to ask any technical questions: general at jakarta.apache.org.
