Hi, I've just started using Slide and I have a question I hope someone can help me with. I have a client that would like to have a store of Word files in a database. Since they are a technically challenged, I was thinking that they could use Office's WebDAV capabilities to edit the files in the database.
So I have Slide set up and running and using MySQL as a JDBC Store and it's working quite nicely (Nice work guys!) Since I do development on Mac OS X, I've done most of my testing with the OS X WebDAV client. With the store mounted on the desktop, I can open a Word file that is stored in the MySQL store, edit it, save it, and all is fine. On Windows, this is another story. I can browse the store by mounting it as a WebFolder, but some folders are unavailable while others are fine. Opening a Word file that is a folder in the store causes Word to hang. I'm using Office XP and Windows XP SP1. Are there any known issues with Slide and Microsoft's WebFolders? If so, are there any work arounds to get to the two components to play nice? Thanks.
