Ryan,

I am not a slide expert by any means, but I can say I
have experienced similar issues. There are two
scenarios regarding slide "hanging" on browsing that
you must be aware of:

1) In my experience (using CVS built Slide from about
a month ago), if a folder's content or the folder
itself has been corrupted (e.g. content created by
failed transaction that somehow was not rolledback)
then this will make the contents inacessable and
therefore hang.

2) I have found that WinXP can hang sometimes when
trying to access Slide's contents store via
MSWebFolders. When this problem occurs, it only
occurs on WinXP. I am not sure if this is a
compatibility issue with Slide and WinXP or if WinXP
was rushed out the door...

Overall, I must attest Slide to be highly reliable and
would presume that this is an issue MS will resolve
with the next SP for XP. Which version of Slide are
you using?

Hope this helps,
Julian
