What about this: Jeremy - how about you getting the latest CVS and
ensuring that all tests pass. Assuming that the testsuite is an
indication of codebase sanity, then this should help us determine if the
current CVS tips are stable enough for a release. If they aren't, get
them running 100% and submit any patches. Remy - once Jeremy (et. al.)
gets the testsuite passing, can you authorize him or someone else as a
commiter and get them to do a release? This simple act of getting a new
release may be just a simple task, but I believe it will help generate
some renewed interest in the product, especially if its announced to
javalobby, theserverside, javachannel, et. al. This may bring more folks
here, more hands to assist in any new features, docs, etc. and take some
of the load off the original commiters who are being hammered right now
with other things.
