I've download and configured the various binary versions of slide and simply cannot get Window XP or Gnome Nautilus to connect. The slide client works fine. I have no problem with the tomcat 4.1.29 webdav client.
The server starts up fine. I can connect with a web browser and see the directory listings. When I set the parameter directory-browsing to false the listings are no longer available as expected. When I connect using the Windows XP instructions, I receive the message: The folder you entered does not appear to be valid. Please choose another. I've tried changing several of the compatibility parameters to no avail. I've tried the following URI with the same result: http://localhost:8080/slide/ http://localhost:8080/slide/files/ I'm using Debian with Linux 2.6.3, j2sdk-1.4.2_03, and various versions of tomcat.
