Hi I have had some of the same problems with the XP client - and my slide server is running on a windows machine! In my case it only gave problems on some machines - so my conclusion was that it had something to do with the client and not the server!?!
I know that the WebDAV client on XP is updated when some versions of MS office and ms sharepoint client is installed on the machine! Do you have a Microsoft office installed? If yes, what version and service pack. If you do not have Microsoft office then you could download the trial version of MS sharepoint and install the client on you XP. /jacob -----Original Message----- From: Jean Pierre LeJacq [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 11. marts 2004 14:23 To: Slide Users Mailing List Subject: Re: Problem connecting to Slide 2.0 beta 1 with WebDAV clients On Thu, 11 Mar 2004, Giorgio Franceschetti wrote: > I've had no problem connecting with XP. Bye, I've tried a number of configurations to get this to work. The first was to use as is the configuration provided in the archive following the install instructions precisely. I always seem to be able to get the slide client to work but with XP I only have directory browsing working. Could this be some incompatibility with linux-2.6.3? Anyone have success with this kernel version? -- JP --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
