I am using Win2K SP4 (MSDAIPP.DLL version 8.103.5219.0). According to http://wiki.apache.org/jakarta-slide/WebFolderIssues
"there is a bug in the WebFolder implementation shipped with Win2k SP4 and WinXP SP1 that will prevent WebFolders from accessing Slide. The only known solution is to install a product that upgrades MSDAIPP.DLL (the dll that controls WebDAV access on Windows)". Since versions 10.X and 11.X are only available for WinXP and Win2003, I don't see a way to upgrade the DLL on Win2K :-( This particular problem seems to be caused by the bug options-req-against-root --> When using the Internet Explorer "open" dialog and checking the "open as webfolder" checkbox, Explorer first accesses the root of the server instead of the specified URI. Therefore, opening a webfolder will fail unless the root of the namespace indeed is WebDAV-enabled. Any idea how to make the root WebDAV-enabled ?
