Hallo Guido, Thanks for letting us know how you are getting on, interesting that a factory reset seems to have helped and pleased that you are at least getting longer periods of uninterrupted playtime now. I did do some further reading, some people have trouble with mesh, others not, like so many aspects of these Radio wifi issues, pinning down the probable cause seems to vary from site to site. POMdev, who has done an awful lot of work on this problem summarises what he feels is the issue on post #315 here: https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?109953-WiFi-connection-unstable-lost-on-three-Radios/page32 Whilst I mention POMdev, I'd not previously installed his wlanpoke script because I couldn't be bothered to dig out a Windows laptop (to use WinSCP), anyway I tried to install from my Macbook, it went fine, quite easy in fact, I've set it up for no reporting to a log server and the slow web page, which is useful for checking how many wifi resets have been forced. So it's been running without causing any problems, first day or so was good no resets - but then I used the microwave oven, 3 resets during that use but it was unable to recover the wifi whilst the microwave was actually running, (fair enough, was hoping but not expecting it to manage that). It's now been running wlanpoke for 3 days with a total of 8 forced resets - probably most if not all of those due to microwave oven use as so far I've not managed to catch a reset without having used the microwave. Just to clarify, my microwave problem is separate from the newer generic red wifi issue being seen, when using the microwave play stops and the red wifi appears but once the microwave has stopped, the wifi symbol goes back to white and play resumes without me doing anything. When I was getting the "new" red wifi issue a reboot of the radio was required to get it reconnected. What is interesting with the microwave is I'd solved that problem with the installation of a closer access point, microwave use hasn't stopped the radio from playing for several years, but now it does it every time, at the moment I think it's either the replacement access point signal is weaker or the microwave is "leaking" more interference as it's got older. Although things are working better for you at the moment, and your planned next step to create an older 2.4Ghz Squeezebox specific network is a good idea, I can't help but think you're going to need to try wlanpoke at some stage, if you're a Mac user then I can help you install it and set it up from a Mac.
