hi guys,

i would rather stay away from adding too much other stuff to the
logo... i would be tempted reduce things a bit.
anyhow, i tried to capture a large clean pixeled apache
logo and tried it on the sling typo for testing purposes here...
i did not have the correct font, so i used arial black.

please do not consider this an alternative proposal this is just
to help the process... this is not even using any design software
just firefox and apple keynote.

generally. i think that "design by committee" in visual design
always leads to questionable results at best.
