I assume you mean the EEPRO/10 ISA, not the EEPRO/100 PCI. This is
the fault of the card or maybe the driver. It locks if you let the
module autoprobe. So you have to specify the IO address. And turn off
PnP on the card. Look for e10disk at the Intel site which contains the
config utility.
