Most VX motherboards could go up to 233Mhz. Given the fact it uses DIMMs I
would assume this board would be good for this speed. What brand MB is it?
Have a look at the "Computer Market Magazine", it contains many second hand
dealers for pc parts. I have dealt with "Upgrade Yourself Computers" (can
remember url) and PCRecyclers (www.pcrecyclers.net).
Look to pay up to $200 for a 200-233 cpu (very expensive considering you can
buy a celeron or amd for the same price with a lot more speed!)
I actually live out your way (lower blue mountains) so I can let you know of
any local ones as well (offlist) if you like...

I haope this is not too off topic!
I have a PC with a board that is purportedly an Intel VX motherboard.
It's got both SIMM and DIMM slots.
Currently it has an Intel Pentium 133 CPU in it.
What is the fastest CPU I can put in this board and where can I get one?!
I take it it's an older CPU so I'd be looking second hand?
