Rachel,
Try this site
http://ping4.ping.be/bios/numbers.shtml
It provides instructions on how to identify the make/model of a board
depending on the BIOS..

Subject: [SLUG] intel hardware question
Hi Sluggers,
I haope this is not too off topic!
I have a PC with a board that is purportedly an Intel VX motherboard.
It's got both SIMM and DIMM slots.
Currently it has an Intel Pentium 133 CPU in it.
What is the fastest CPU I can put in this board and where can I get one?!
I take it it's an older CPU so I'd be looking second hand?
thanks!
rachel
