Hi,
Thanks everyone who responded, I already have a 5
customers running reliable systems off of bigpond
direct permanent modems, I have recommended a similar
solution to them using and ISP (I have to honour the
fact that I am setting this customer up for the ISP)
and am waiting until they get back to me.
However the current system appears to have become
somewhat reliable during the last few days so maybe I
had it right the first time and it just needed to
settle down.
