Do you invite people to send you emails (even from this list) where the
sole purpose is to sell something?? Isn't this uninvited?? It might not
be unwelcome (but it could be that too), but it would certainly be
uninvited.
Make your choice, is unwanted/uninvited advertising spam or not??
If it is, then nobody should EVER advertise anything for sale on this
list, as that would be uninvited and possibly unwelcome to some.
If it isn't, I ask that you withdraw your complaint regarding my 4 line
signature.

Annoying doesn't come into the "standards of sig's with nettiquite. It
has been accepted for many, many years that a sig should be a max of 2
lines, 40 chars per line. Only in recent years has it been more widely
acceptable to have larger and larger sigs. By your above standards, my
signature is quite acceptable/
