No, cars should be taxed on distance driven and load carried. If a tax
like that was invoked, we would not need income tax, GST, or anything
else. then we would have a wonderful public transport system.

This insult is more commonly know as the watermelon insult - green on
the outside, red on the inside (commo's under the bed!). In my
experience, most greeney solutions are fair and thought out to a far
greater degree than the reactionary redneck crap that is usually
posted against them.

First part wrong, last part correct. Think laterally. 
If you want to change the system, you have to think outside the system
and don't be fooled by those currently portraying themselves as
'revolutionaries' {:-).
