Lies, Damm Lies and Statistics - and you believe the government when
it tells you how much it spends on anything. Hmm.

Absolutely bullshit and just shows how you are being brainwashed by
the roads lobby. ALL THREE LEVELS of government in this country
provide and maintain roads. The cost figures you are talking about can
easily be trebled in true costs of providing and maintaining roads. Go
down to your local government entity and just look at how much goes on
roads.

Then we have the social cost that the roads lobby conveniently
ignores. Apart from the usual health issues.

Lies, Damm Lies and Statitics - government figures are NOT facts.

The funny thing about this is, that the USA has enormous military
expenditure to ensure that US citizens have some of the most cheapest
petrol in the world. So many of their past military exploits are
better explained as as justification for cheap oil, than as
humanitarian, justice, etc.
