Hi there

I have got to thank you for putting this url up

I have a intellimouse 1.1A and the only way to get it to work was to
restart gpm numerous times in a certain way! and hence the box it was on
is on all the time  because of this :-)!

just the auto mouse type worked wonders!

this is after over a year of this annoyance
