mac people probably ask what the hell we do with 3 buttons - is the
same thing.. more stuff - yose ti as shortcuts.. like the 2 left button
on the exporer can be used in windows to bind to back./forward a page
in IE - or in linxu just bind them to whatever you like in your window
manager etc. (ie you coudl bind them to if you click anywhere on a
window and rag it will move - no need to go hit alt as well, or to flip
virtual desktops or pop up extra app menus anywhere on screen since
buttons 4 & 5 (ok we can argue here - 4 &5 by convention are wheel, 6 &
7 woudl be the extra 2 but you remap them so the wheel is 6 & 7 and the
etxra are 4 & 5 and then modmap them to reverse later so it actually
works) - u'd be surprised how useful it is when you actually use them..
