Funnily enough (with a name like that), no. It's "intended for radio use
only", and "does *not* support telephone modem standards" - bummer!
Conrad pointed to the general linmodem driver page, which really takes the
cake. In fact, they've built a soundcard interface for it too (thus
providing quasi acoustic coupler support).
