hi that is a problem as that is one on the requirements.. is there any way that i can emulate say the novell or nt servers in a virtual machine or friends... what about somthing like MARS (i havnet looked into it) but it is just a novell server is there anything stopping me making a VM with a pretend DN (the one that it defaults to log onto ) then masq the net through it to the client the problem with changing the proxys and just pressing cancell is that they need to be able to transparently log into both networks without changing settings..?? all they need is net so file sharing etc is not an issue. thanks alex On Sun, 11 Jun 2000, you wrote: > You can't avoid chainging settings on the laptops.
