Thanks for the reply David,
I am getting there but I think some people don't want us along because
their hallowed domain of mystique and smoke and mirrors (Unix
administration) is sacred and they don't want it trampled by the tourists.
Thanks to you and Jason Ball for the words of encouragement as the reason
why I watch the SLUG list is for that one hot tip that might come along at
my level. Sometimes though my "stupid" questions don't get asked for fear
of being run over by the "guru" train.
Maybe I need to start my own list, the SHLUG (h is for hopeful - or hopeless).
