Short answer - Yes, if it does what they need it to do.
   If the company is supposed to be promoting the use of Linux exclusively,
   then I believe they should be seen to be using Linux, especially when it
   comes to promotional material, anything that a potential customer can see.

Sun Microsystems went through a long internal process which they called
"Sun at Sun" which was a concerted effort to do all of their business on
their own equipment and software. It was continually embarassing to Sun when
they were showing potential customers around to have Windows running 
on desktops and have to field questions about why they are running Microsoft 
stuff in the first place; so they took the effort to make all their employees
run their own stuff- although I didn't agree with all of the tools they
came up with, such as a Java-based revision control system, their efforts
to run their business on their own solutions was commendable. 

Linux companies should likewise run their businesses exclusively on 
Linux software. Not only is it more practical, it sends out the 
wrong message if they don't.
