I have change the entry in smb.conf to
[laserjet2p]
comment = Anthem's Printer
valid users = kenny anthem
path = /home/anthem
printer = laserjet2p
public = no
writable = no
printable = yes
and now I get the following message in /var/log/samba/log.samba
[2000/08/02 17:08:09, 1] smbd/service.c:make_connection(535)
anthem (192.168.0.70) connect to service laserjet2p as user anthem
(uid=502, gid=502) (pid 684)
[2000/08/02 17:08:09, 1] smbd/service.c:close_cnum(568)
anthem (192.168.0.70) closed connection to service laserjet2p
seems it wants to print, but nothing happens..
