A couple of broken sound questions.
Fresh workstation install of RH6.2 and it complains about /dev/mixer not
being there.
Is this normal?
Yep, works under the dreaded OS
Suse 6.4 has /dev/mixer, but has suddenly started asking for chmod a+rw
(after reboot)on it when it is already there and set. Any ideas? The
only thing I can think of is that it relies on a daemon that I've
inadvertently shut down.
