Hrrrm.
Few thoughts etc:
1 - note that you don't mention slug-debian (obviously because
debian *is* Linux ;))
2 - it's very unlikely, IME, that this will propagate properly -
I would be surprised if people would be willing to make the
effort to shift a discussion like "Debian Still Sucks" onto an
OS specific list because it was so wideranging. Also, a lot of
people may not be subscribed to an distro discussion list - I
probably wouldn't bother with the list for any of the RPM based distros -
who might have an interest, or expertise, in a specific
subject...
3 - Moderating... To get someone to moderate a list, or even
just to read the SLUG lists that in depth to get every
instance of an OS specific post shifted, involves a hell of a
lot of effort. I think I remember the guy at eazel who was in
charge of moderating submissions to the Nautilus devel list
saying it was taking up a significant part of his working day
just doing that.
just my 0.02, but I think this would be at best impractical.
note, however, I can't think of a reasonable suggestion myself.
Kudos for trying :-)
cheers
