Some thoughts:
* a rotating roster ? People nominate themselves for a slot.
* a 'views' system : people can make pearls anytime, overlapping
others, dropping out with too much pressure, taking up only
those things that interest them. Maybe even a cvs type system.
sub thought : the system of email query -> response, response,
response -> further comment, comment, comment is sort of like
an outline document or threaded document anyway. Perhaps the
original poster ought to take on the responsibility of
summarising responses?
* moderation ? - some of the suggestions like for kuro5hin ?
If you do a few queries on google, you can sometimes find
the slug pearls coming up. They are _so_ much better than a
raw mail archive.
