What will really annoy you (as it did me) is that the src.rpm for ver 4.0
rpm is a 4.0 rpm :(
You can grab the brinaries from rpm.org but i broke my rpm db doing this.
Maybe you could upgrade to redhat 7.0 (assuming your running redhat)
