CGI as in CGI for WWW + db = PHP.
Look on freshmeat for PHPshop. I've started with MySQL PHP Shopping Cart
and was able to produce something in two days and knew zilch about PHP.
I just put PHP in dynamically and apart from the test script not
working, had no problems (except sproutcam and recycling CD is a bit
more interesting ATM).
