What is wrong with the exisiting sun's ?
If there is nothing wrong with them, and you are merely intending to add
furthur web servers, then linux will be compatible with the exisiting
setup, no need to hire new admins etc, Win2K Servers will require
diffrent
admin etc, and you could also point to the speed of the new khttpd for
servering static pages. Also php, and asp support for linux.
Actually if ASP is touted as an advanatge by M$, suggest that your
company
first go with a linux solotuion as a trial, becasue you'll have to buy
the
hardware anyway, and you can always by Win2K later. What have they got
to
lose ? Except maybe a little time in testing, that might (read
will) result in big cost savings in expensive M$ licenses later.
If they trot out the old, price of software is only ever 1% of TCO,
point
out that 100 x $0 is still free ;)
