Hi Jeff,
I searched in dselect and console-apt, (/mgetty) should have found
any thing connected.

apt-get install mgetty-fax
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Package mgetty-fax has no available version, but exists in the database.

E: Package mgetty-fax has no installation candidate

I guess I can look in potato, or on a CD. Can't help wondering if there's
something better in the pipeline.
