Howard Lowndes was once rumoured to have said:

"Emulation: Host based printing built-in"

Read: winprinter.

My folks had a panasonic printer of similar nature - my solution was
to leave it hooked up to their win box, and print via SMB. -
fortunatlely for me the host software emulated PCL. It just meant I
had to yell at them to turn their printer on if I wanted to print
anything.

This is, however, not always the best answer.

If anybody sees or hears of any cheap postscript laser printers, could
they pass on word to me too - I need to acquire a resonable laser
printer since I've realised that I don't actually have a printer
anymore.
