Hi everybody,
This is the problem Iam facing :
At boot time the following message is displayed
:
Bringing up eth0 : insmod failed : Hint :insmod
errors could be caused by incorrect
module parameters ,including IRQ and I/O
.
Delaying eth0 initialization.
A few details :
The NIC is from D-link with rtl8139
driver.
/proc/pci shows ethernet with IRQ 9 and I/O address
0xd800
It also shows Unknown vendor Unknown
device(rev 16)
Vendor Id 1186 Device Id 1300
ifconfig does not show eth0.
The module is available as a loadable kernel
module,however,lsmod does not show
the associated module i.e rtl8139.
Please help me.
With Regards,
Sudhish
