Create a small linux partition 10-15 megabytes on hda (hda1)
Then you can install windozes on hda2,3,4 etc..
If you install windoze on hda2, it will still be C-drive as it will be the
first fat partition.
You can put your linux partitions anywhere you want after that, just setup
/dev/hda1 as the /boot then you won't need a boot floppy for linux You could
switch between lilo and microsoft boot loaders by installing lilo in
/dev/hda1, microsoft on MBR and selecting (using microsoft fdisk) which
partition should be active. The preferable setup would see lilo on MBR.
But it doesn't matter, you have the choice, it will be easier to switch
without blowing up one of your installations.
Because /dev/hda1 partition will be well under the 1024 cylinder boundary or
4 gig LBA limit, you will allways be able to boot.
ian.
you would need a boot floppy for linux in this setup
> hda
> windows98 (primary Xmb's)
> windows200 pro (primary Xmb's)

> hdab
> linux

> hdc
> cdrom
so try,
hda---------- MBR (Master Boot Record) could be lilo or microsoft
