another thing to remember...
in Win NT and Win2K it has a disk administrator.
if you've got a multi-boot setup with linux and win98/nt/2K then after the whole
thing is setup *don't* use the disk administrator in win2k or NT. it WILL trash
your linux setup/boot partition etc.
not sure exactly what it does screw up though. it seems to happen when NT wants to
"put a signature" on your hard disk. it says it "won't harm anything"... sure!
whether this is an MS "do this if you detect linux" thing or not I don't know. but
if you want your system trashed - win2k will still work - then try it.
even if you have a boot manager like GAG in the MBR it leaves this alone. just
trashes linux.
