Try Galeon or Konqueror. Neither of them are perfect, but to be
honest, I really prefer Galeon over IE. (And unlike many others
here, I actually use IE daily and I like it alot. IE4/5 was miles
ahead of Netscape at the time for just doing regular browsing,
which 99% of the population do.)

The good and the bad on each of them:

Galeon: I use the Debian package, so it basically worked for me
out of the box. I'm 99% sure they provide RPM packages as well so
you shouldn't have much trouble to get it working on Red Hat or
Mandrake. Forget about building it from source unless you're
feeling adventurous though; if you're going to do that, it
requires that you build Mozilla as well. (I'm not saying it's
hard, I'm just saying I'd rather be doing more productive things
with my time.)

As a browser, I really do think it's unrivalled. It has some
great options borrowed from Konquerer, like "minimum font size",
which I find really useful since I like to use small fonts to view
webpages -- but that doesn't work with those stupid sites that
like to set your font size about 5 lower than it is. The
bookmarks system is superb, and best of all, it supports tabs.

Each browser window can have several tabs in them, which basically
means instead of having multiple windows, you can have them all in
one window with multiple tabs. If you've used Opera, it's quite
similar. However, I don't really like this style of browsing --
but a killer feature in Galeon is being able to open those
annoying pop-up windows in a tab. That's a godsend. Galeon's
fast too, and stable enough not to piss me off; I find crashes to
be quite rare. I haven't had any problems with JavaScript
support, although I haven't bothered to install the Java plugins
yet. Supports Netscape plugins too; I think it comes with Flash.
(At least it does in the Debian package.). I use it over HTTPS
regularly; zero problems.

Konqueror: Just as stable as Galeon, and I personally think it
doesn't do quite as good a job rendering pages as Galeon does, but
it's very clean, very simple, and it does the job very well. I've
only hit a few pages which it really stuffs up on, and I do lots
of browsing. Opening new windows is a bit slow for my liking
(since I tend to browse with about 5 or 6 open at once), but other
than that, it's pretty good. I think I had some problems with
HTTPS support (it didn't work sometimes), but I don't know whether
that was due to Konquerer itself or because I had a bloodshot
configuration. I prefer Galeon, though.

Anyway, try them. I hope you like one of them.
