I presume you mean using IE under > M$ platforms - AFAIK IE isn't available for 'nix platforms is it? A variant form of MSIE is available for Solaris and (if I recall correctly) HP/UX. You get a boatload of COM/DCOM libraries with it, which strikes me as hilarious.
