Depends if you've got an enterprise to backups or not...
We use both - depending on the volume of data to backup. In our main
datacenters we run an enterprise solution. In our satellite offices we
use dump/restore (Thankfully a lot more dump than restore...)
(15 DLT8000's, well over 1000 carts online - I think that qualifies as
enterprise).
