I've only just starting using gpg. Initially I was using gpg version
1.0.4 and downloading peoples public keys from wwwkeys.pgp.net ,
Evolution seemed to handle this alright, verifying that various pgp
signatures were good, but untrusted. I downloaded the 1.0.6 version as a
Mandrake 8.1 rpm and that seemed to install fine.

However, the only good key I can find now is my own (created with
version 1.0.4, every other key that I've tried off the SLUG and
SLUG-chat mailing lists returns a bad signature, including those that
originally returned good under 1.0.4.

Does gpg 1.0.6 now require some level of trust (above none) before it
will flag a signature as good, or has something else gone astray?
