I tried to find that on the Adobe news site but could not find it. 
Do you have a reference for that. Several weeks ago I emailed State
Parliament 
about their pending legislation now being produced in Acrobat 5.0 which
meant 
that as a citizen using a UNIX like O/S I am not able to read their
legislation.
Thats against their policy. They achnowledged the prob and were looking
into it.

If Adobe have said they will not port (unlikely as 5.05 now works
natively on 
MacOS X) then Parliament musty revert to using a version < 5.0
And I will get back to them.
