Actually, I did ask something similar to the salesperson ...
who said that a single cable comes into the house that gets
"split up" into the phone line and the tv. Didn't ask
further .. as my aim was to determine whether or not I would
have to re-wire the telephone line thoughout the house. (Didn't
want to have to replace all phone wiring when there is a perfectly
good telstra lines to various rooms)
