Hi Slugs, Trying to convert a customer to Mandrake 8.2 from W2k.
Printing to a Kyocera FS-600 does not work. printing from the advanced editor. Parallel port. with CUPS a page prints with !adobe on the top and some other garbage. this set as postscript RAW does not print. with print through external program nothing comes out with LPR standard bsd print system nothing with generic unix lpd print system nothing printer is setup as A4 portrait and all usual settings. printer prints fine through windows. funny thing it detects Kyocera on build of linux however not listed in printer selection to install a new printer. I used generic postscript and raw. still not working. Have turned off the workstation and printer (yes, i've had lots of M$ training ;-) just not sure where to look for solutions. what is the next step?
