Not everything Senator Brian Harradine writes is endorsed by the Australian government, fortunately!
Politicians often blur the distinction between government and party-political (or personal) positions when it suits them -- that's a real problem here and probably in Peru as well -- but I see no signs that this particular Peruvian politician has tried to do that.
