If you needed a linux ISO, and your friend or a server on the network
is storing a copy, at 100k/sec or more, and at zero cost of data to
everyone involved...

Even 1.5Mbps ADSL only has a theoretical maximum of about 187k/sec, and
32k/sec upload...
