The list ebbs and flows. Sometimes we're told it's too technical, sometimes
too basic. The people who post define the tone, so if you want to see more
of one or the other... just post! :-)

I think Slackware is generally seen as either terminally un-modern, or just
too much work for too little gain. Certainly amongst advanced users, anyway
(who, at least in my experience, use Red Hat or Debian).

Not sure what that really answers, but yeah. :-)
